How do I renew my access to the Lexicomp app?

Lexicomp Mobile Apps

To renew your Lexicomp subscription, follow these instructions:

  1. Access Lexicomp in a browser (ie, not in the mobile app)
    1. Go to MUSC Library homepage -> click Resources, then Lexicomp
  2. Click “Mobile Access Codes” in the 'Additional Services' box on the Lexicomp screen (see Screenshot 1 below)
  3. Select platform (iPhone/iPad or Android) and the type of customer you are (existing)
  4. Copy the Authorization Code
  5. Add subscription to your account by clicking on the Lexicomp account link (https://www.lexi.com/account/)
  6. Log in with your MUSC email address and password you used when you first downloaded the Lexicomp app
  7. In the "Add a Subscription by Code" box (see Screenshot 2 below), paste the authorization code and then click “Add Subscription”
  8. Lexicomp will email you a PIN number to verify your email address
  9. Copy and paste PIN number from email into the Verify PIN box (see Screenshot 3 below)
  10. Click “Verify” button and then click “Finish” button
  11. Subscription dates should update in the browser to 06/29/2024

  12. Open up the Lexicomp app on your mobile devices

  13. Update all products
